Gain, Louis
Variant namesIn the winter of 1913 Louis Gain wrote to the polar explorer William Speirs Bruce regarding the ornithological specimens collected during the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition, 1902-1904. Bruce led this expedition, which carried out a broad scientific programme. Gain was at this point working for the Museum D'Histore Naturelle in France.
