John Winthrop Ballantine (b. Oct. 1, 1920, N.Y.C.-d. Apr. 20, 2003, N.Y.C.) was a graduate of Harvard University in 1942. He served on the New Jersey State Board of Mediation from 1949 to 1955, and served on the faculty of the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, beginning in 1963.
