Eureka Consolidated Mining Company

Eureka Consolidated Mining Company originated in 1870 on Ruby Hill, near Eureka, Nev., and was one of the richest mining operations for the time. The company closed in 1891 and later reopened as the Richmond-Eureka Mining Company, which was subsequently changed back to Eureka Consolidated Mining Company.
