Dr. Joseph E. Goodbar and Octavia Walton Goodbar, of Portland, Me., sailed on the S.S. "American Merchant," from New York on Saturday, July 6, 1929 to England, where they arrived on July 15, 1929. They also traveled to Scotland and France, returning home in Aug. Dr. Goodbar died around 1953.
