Tonge, William Hopkins, 1824-1902.
Justice of the Peace for Pima County; married Phylena Wallace and arrived in Tucson in 1862. Worked as a customs officer in Calabasas, worked at the Arivaca Ranch, Cerro Colorado Mine and for Solomon Warner in his store. He was Justice of the Peace as early as 1864; in 1879 he had a bakery in Yuma and was Under Sheriff in Yuma in 1884.
