Reverend Reggie Longcrier founded the Hickory, North Carolina-based church, Exodus Missionary Outreach Church in 1997. It is a non-denominational multi-ethnic church. He is also the executive director of Exodus Homes, a faith-based agency, offering transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless recovering addicts, alcoholics, and formerly incarcerated people. The Reverend presented a You Tube question for the 2007 CNN Democratic Presidential debate in which he asked why it is acceptable to use religion to deny gay Americans their rights to marriage.
