Moore, Robert, 1781-1857.
Robert Moore (1781-1857) was a politician and pioneer in the Oregon Territory. He participated in early movements to form a government in the Oregon Territory and founded Linn City, Oregon. Before traveling to Oregon in 1840 he had served in the Missouri General Assembly.
