Vachel Lindsay Association
Variant namesFounded in 1946 in Springfield, Illinois to perpetuate interest in Lindsay's poetry and ideals. Elizabeth Graham was a founding member and curator of the Lindsay Home from 1958-1978. Although the home was transferred to the state of Illinois as a historic site in 1990, the Vachel Lindsay Association continues to promote his poetry and ideals through public programming and publications.
