Burns, Robert A.
Variant namesRobert A. Burns graduated from the University of Texas in 1980. He served as superintendent of the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site in Paris, Texas, a Greek Revival home which Confederate Major General, and later U.S. Senator, Samuel Bell Maxey built in 1867. Burns also wrote a column for the Paris News, was chairman of the Lamar County Historical Society, and was elected as a Lamar County judge 1987.
