Montgomery, James W., ca. 1824-fl. 1865.
Montgomery was a lumber dealer in Petersburg, Illinois, probably in partnership for a time with Milton T. Moore. During the Civil War he was trading in all sorts of agricultural products. At the end of the war he was the Petersburg agent for the United States Express Company.
