Morris, Edward M. (Edward Moses), 1895-1969
Edward Moses Morris (b. Dec. 21, 1895, Marinette, Wisconsin-d. Jan. 19, 1969), Brigadier General in the U.S. Air Force, was commissioned in the aviation section of the Signal Corps in 1918. During World War II, he was commanding general, 4th Fighter Command, 7th Fighter Command, 318th Fighter Wing, and 4th Air Force. He retired in December 1945.
