Southern Pine Lumber Company
Southern Pine Lumber Company of Texarkana, Ark., organized in 1891; folded the same year and reorganized in Diboll, Tex., in 1893; merged Temple Lumber Company's Pineland, Tex., operations into the parent company in 1956; renamed Temple Industries in 1964; acquired by Time, Inc., in 1973.
