Fox, Edward, 1814-1881.

Fox graduated from Harvard College (1834) and Harvard Law School (1837). He practiced law in Portland (1837-1863) and was appointed associate justice of the Maine Supreme Court (1862-1863). President Johnson appointed Fox to the U.S. District Court judgeship in 1866.
