Dunn, William H.
William H. Dunn was part of the 5th Michigan Volunteer Cavalry until he was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and put in charge of Company E, 10th Michigan Volunteer Cavalry in April 1864. After seeing service in Tennessee and Kentucky he was promoted to Captain and Major (Brevet). He returned to Michigan after the war and was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) until his death in 1934.
