The Atlanta Urban League, an affiliate of the National Urban League, was established in 1920. It is a private, non-profit, interracial community service organization which functions as a vehicle for addressing the social and economic problems of the black community in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Community Services Department of the League conducted activities relating to neighborhood organizations, fund raising, and supervision of field work students from the Atlanta University School of Social Work.
