Musician and orchestra conductor in San Angelo, Texas, and Mitchell, Nebraska, proficient on the guitar and violin. Casimiro E. Giron was born August 25, 1885 in San Angelo, Texas, son of Casimiro Giron and Donna Maria Esmungin (Schmunchen). Casimiro E. Giron's paternal grandmother, Clara Tellez Giron, was from El Paso del Norte. He had other relatives in San Elizario, Texas. The Casimiro E. Giron Orquesta played at various venues around San Angelo, and between 1904 and 1928 appeared at the 16 de Septiembre festivities. He was married to Josefina Cortinas and had seven children. He also worked at his father's saloon and for 15 years he was an accountant for the Wool Growers Central Storage Company. In 1936 he moved to Mitchell, Nebraska, where he died October 21, 1940.
