Miles F. Shore, AB, 1950, Harvard College; MD, 1954, Harvard Medical School, is Bullard Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Visiting Scholar at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Shore trained in psychiatry at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center and the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Mass. At the Kennedy School, Shore is studying the evoluation of health care reform, patient safety, and medical error. Shore teaches about mental health policy and leadership to degree students at the Kennedy School, and, with Joseph P. Newhouse, he is director of "Understanding the New World of Health Care," an executive program on health policy for physicians and health care leaders.
