Jeannine Baker was born, the daughter of John L. Baker and Irene Bellegarde Baker, in Grand Isle, Vermont on May 4, 1929. She married Wilfred J. Dubuque on June 10, 1948. In 1942, she was elected by her classmates to represent the Grand Isle Grammar School at the christening of the S.S. Calvin Coolidge.
