Social Sciences Research Council (U.S.).
The Social Sciences Research Council was organized in 1923 and represents several national organizations including the American Political Science Association, American Economic Association, American Sociological Society, and the American Statistical Association.
It promotes research in the social sciences through grants and fellowships and otherwise facilitates the work of social scientists. The majority of the Council's work is carried out by committees of social scientists.
