West family.
Samuel West (1750-1827) was a Quaker merchant of London and, subsequently, Maidenhead, England. He and his son, William West, were active in the concerns of the Society of Friends and corresponded with prominent Quakers including John Gurney, Thomas Foster, and Henry Tuke.
