Gerald Edward Galloway (b. Dec. 4, 1902, New York, New York-d. Apr. 28, 1980), U.S. Army officer, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1925. Early in his career he was an instructor in chemistry and electricity at the Academy and served in various engineering posts, including in the Panama Canal Zone and in Puerto Rico. During World War II, he served as commander of engineering brigades in the South Pacific, the Philippines, and in Japan. He also served during the Korean War as an engineer with the IX U.S. Corps.
