Clay Monument Association (Lexington, Ky.)
Clay Monument Association was organized June 30, 1852, by the citizens of Lexington and Fayette Counties, Ky., for the purpose of erecting a "national monument of colossal proportions" at the gravesite of Henry Clay at the Lexington Cemetery.
