United States Central Intelligence Agency case officer, 1956-1973.

Lecturer, Duncan of Jordanstone, College of Art, Dundee. Bruce Walker worked for Historic Scotland before joining the School of Architecture at Duncan of Jordanstone.

Bruce Walker worked for the project Conservation of Cotton Old Schoolhouse, Carse of Gowrie, Perthshire which was supported by Historic Scotland grants. It was pioneered under the supervision of Bruce Walker with traditional earth building techinques of Scotland.

Bruce Walker sculpted the Bon Scott Plaque on 13th May 2006. The plaque, which lays unveiled on the door step of the local Tourist Information Centre in Cumberland Close, pays tribute to the former lead singer of AC/DC.
