Nogales businessman.
Walter Holm was born in Guatemala City in 1902. After several years of education and travel in Latin America, he came to the United States. After traveling around the country doing various jobs including farming, logging and translating, he settled in Nogales, Arizona. While he first sold machinery and mining equipment for another firm, eventually he started his own fruit and vegtable distribution business. In addition to transporting and selling Mexican crops in the United Staes, he has also been involved in developing new products for Mexican growers.
