Rumble, Urban, 1843-1862.
Urban Rumble (1843-1862), Confederate soldier, was born in Brent, Monroe County, Georgia, and died at Chimborazo Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.
Rumble was the son of Henry (1815-1889) and Frances Rebecca Cox Rumble (1821-1911). He enlisted in Company A of the 14th Georgia Infantry Regiment (1861) and spent his military time stationed in Virginia. He died of pneumonia and measles and was buried in the Smith Cemetery at Brent.
