Pennsylvania United States Bicentennial Celebration.
The celebration of the Bicentennial of the United States was an important event considering Pennsylvania's contributions to the Revolution. Each county organized a committee to plan local celebrations and the state sponsored many programs to promote Pennsylvania's role in the Revolution.
