Eugene Thomason (b. 1895 d. 1972) was a painter; Nebo, North Carolina.

Thomason was born in Blacksburg, S.C. and raised in Charlotte, N.C.. Through the support of his father's employer J. B. Duke, Thomason studied in New York City at the Art Students League, and later operated an art school on E. 22nd St., New York, N.Y., with George Luks.
