Cortell family
Upon their emigration to the United States, Julius and Margot Kochertaler changed their names to Jules and Margot Cortell . Before settling in the United States, they had fled the Nazi dictatorship for Paris . After the war, Cortell founded the Europacar tourist agency, which specialized in car tours. He also devoted considerable energy to philanthropy as a member of the American Jewish Committee .
