Bolte, Anson L., 1860-
Born 1860. Enlisted 1st Regiment, Illinois National Guard (1879). Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant (1886), 1st Lieutenant (1889), and Captain (1893) and assigned to Company C, 1st Regiment, Illinois National Guard. Saw war service in Cuba during 1898. Retired from Illinois National Guard (1905). Commissioned Colonel and served as commanding officer of the 3rd Infantry Illinois Reserve Militia (1917). Assisted in re-organizing the 131st Infantry.
