American society of animal science
Variant namesEstablished in 1908, the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) is a professional organization for animal scientists designed to help members provide effective leadership through research, extension, teaching and service for the livestock and meat industries. ASAS is based in Savoy, Illinois, and holds a yearly national meeting and four regional meetings.
