Jones, David W., ca. 1841-1862.
An Ohio native, Jones was a Jackson County, Illinois farmer when he enlisted in Company G, 9th Illinois Infantry on August 1, 1861. He was killed at the Battle of Shiloh (Tennessee) on April 6, 1862.
