Bradley, Henry, 1807-1883

Henry Bradley (b. 1807 in New York State; d. 1883, Greenfield Hill, Conn. (part of Fairfield, Conn.)), lived at 1681 Hillside Rd. next to his store, which he ran through the 1850s and 1860s. He was also a shirtmaker during that time and dabbled in the wool business. He was the postmaster at Greenfield Hill (1863-1874), justice of the peace (1852-1868), notary public, and Commissioner of the Superior Court. His son, George H. Bradley (b. 1835; d. 1914) also ran the store on Greenfield Hill although the dates are unknown as are his other activities. The Burr family was also active in Fairfield, Conn.
