Grace’s career in photojournalism began as a staff photographer for United Press International in 1973. He also worked as a staff photographer for Newsweek magazine, as well as working as a contract photographer for Time magazine. His work has also made the covers of Life, New York Times Magazine, Paris Match, and Stern, and three books of Grace’s photographs have been published: Choose Me: Portraits of a Presidential Race (1989), Comedians (1999), and State Fair (2006).
