Spokane Stock Exchange
The Spokane Stock Exchange was founded in 1897 and functioned for more than two decades as a sort of gentlemen's club of brokers. From time to time, the exchange virtually ceased operations. Early newspaper accounts report exhanges formed between 1890 and 1897 but none of these seems to have evolved as the Spokane Exchange.
