Twiggs, Hansford Dade Duncan, 1837-1917.
Hansford Dade Duncan Twiggs was from Sandersville, Georgia. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the 1st Georgia Regulars. He later became a lawyer and judge in Georgia. Twiggs did a lot of legal work on behalf of African Americans and had many political connections.
