Henry Ford and Son Laboratories.
Henry Ford and Son Laboratories operated on the third floor of the powerhouse on Henry Ford's Fair Lane estate. The purpose of this company was to carry out mechanical, botanical and chemical research. One of their projects was the distillation of alcohol from vegetable matter for use as tractor fuel.
