Little, Frank L. (Franklin Lightfoot), b. 1838.

Little, a native of Harris County, Georgia, graduated from Emory College in 1858 and was admitted to the bar in 1859. In 1861, he enlisted in Company E, 15th Georgia Infantry but was discharged because of ill health in 1862. He accepted the captaincy of a company of Georgia state troops in 1864. After the war he resumed his law practice and was Hancock County judge from 1872 to 1905.

Little's brother, Jacob Wilbur Fisk Little, was a student at East Alabama Male College, later Auburn University, from 1858 to 1861. His wife's uncle, William J. Sasnett, was East Alabama Male College's first president, 1859-1861.
