New York (N.Y.). Board of Education Fact Finding Committee.
The Fact-Finding Committee composed of Mr. Arthur S. Meyer, Chairman, Mrs. Elinore M. Herrick, Joseph D. Clauson, Jr. and Vito F. Lanza was appointed by the Board of Education on October 3, 1950 to consider in all their phases any questions deemed by it to be relevant in respect to teachers' salaries and the matter of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, responsibilities or duties as a result of wide spread protests from both teachers and the public on salary schedules and a boycott of extracurricular activities by the teachers.
