Indiana Natural Gas and Oil Company
Based in Hammond, Ind., the company incorporated in 1889 and operated a natural gas pipeline from Kokomo to Chicago. It supplied gas to Chicago until 1917 and Kokomo until 1923. The company disbanded in 1935.
