Joseph Wayne Grow was born on April 30, 1902, in Huntsville, Weber County, Utah. He married three times. Only the date of his marriage to Lottie May Barker is known; it was on June 28, 1927, in Salt Lake City, Utah. His other two marriages were to Maxine Smith and Afton Peterson. Grow passed away on May 1, 1983, in Hemet, Riverside County, California.
