Science & Society is a scholarly Marxist quarterly founded in 1936. The journal is interdisciplinary, applying a Marxist perspective to a broad range of topics; however, political economy is the most frequently represented topic, followed by Marxist philosophy, the history of communist movements, and other topics. The journal's head editor is David Laibman, a Professor Emeritus of Economics at Brooklyn College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
