Manley, George W.
George W. Manley was descended from a prominent family which owned property adjoining George Washington's Mount Vernon and intermarried with the Washington and Harrison families. Descendants include Harrison Manley who knew Washington, and Capt. John Manley, an early U.S. naval officer. Other family connections mentioned in this collection include the Righter family of W. Va. and the Bigler and McCalley families.
