Throckmorton, Thomas Bentley, 1885-1961.
Des Moines physician. Thomas Bentley Throckmorton was born in Derby, Iowa, son of Dr. Tom Morford Throckmorton. He graduated from Chariton High School, Simpson College and Jefferson Medical College (Philadelphia). He worked as a physician at the Philadelphia Orthopedic Hospital, the Cherokee (Iowa) State Hospital for the Insane and Des Moines hospitals as a specialist in neurology and psychiatry. He was a member of the Iowa State Medical Society and the Freemasons. He authored a brochure, True Masonic Teachings and co-authored with his father The History of Medicine in Lucas County (1934) .
