Brigham Young Academy. Polysophical Society
Founded by principal Karl G. Maeser in 1877 "to supply to the students opportunities for public training, and the means of obtaining useful incidental instruction" (Academic Review 1, no. 1 (October 1884): 1). The "Academic Review" was published under the auspices of the Polysophical Society beginning in 1884.
