Cutt, W. Towrie
Variant namesWilliam Towrie Cutt (1898-1981) was born in Orkney, Scotland. From 1928-1963 Mr. Cutt taught school in Alberta. He wrote several children's books dealing with such themes as life on the Orkney Islands and the Canadian West at the time of the Riel Rebellion. He also contributed a scholarly chaptr to the New Orkney Book called "The Orcadians in Canada."
