Nishimura, Yoshio.
Nishimura was born ca. 1875; a native of Nara Prefecture and raised in Hokkaidō, he arrived in the US ca. 1906; was a laborer, socialist and newspaperman; editor for Kyōyū (the Kyoyu times) and Rōdō no Chikara (The Workers' power), both printed for Japanese laborers in the US; reporter for the Ōfu Nippō (Sacramento daily news) (1939-41); his pen name was Kantaishi.
