Pat Henning (1933-2005) was a local historian and social activist based in the West Mount Airy section of Philadelphia. She served on the board of the West Mt. Airy Neighbors, a local community association, and helped develop the Mt. Airy Learning Tree, a community service organization. She founded the Mt. Airy Historical Awareness Committee, and worked on many of the oral history projects conducted by the Germantown Historical Society in the early 1990s. Henning also founded and served as editor of the Mount Airy Express . The library of the Germantown Historical Society was dedicated in her name in 2007.
