Alfaretta (Alfie) Lucretia Noyes, daughter of Moses K. and Mary W. Noyes and twin sister of Juniata G. Noyes was born in Saxonville, Framingham, Mass., Dec. 5, 1848. The family moved to West Concord, Mass., where Alfie later attended the district school and resided until her marriage to Oliver H. Godfrey. Her married life was spent in Hampton, N.H. where three children were born: Henry, 1876; Chester, 1878; and Gratia, 1886. Alfaretta Noyes Godfrey died Jan. 13, 1942.
