Farmers' Grain and Shipping Company.
The company was organized as the Devils Lake and Northern Railway in 1900 by a group of farmers, and was formally incorporated in 1902 under the later name. It built or leased 66 miles of rail line running north from Devils Lake to Hansboro near the international boundary. The Great Northern acquired most of the corporate stock through purchase and construction assistance and so controlled the line. The corporation was dissolved in 1945.
