Saunders, W. Arthur (William Arthur)
Missionary, educator; born William Arthur Saunders in England, 1905; emigrated to New Zealand as a young man; attended the New Zealand Bible Institute; worked in China as a missionary with China Inland Mission as a church planter and evangelist, 1930-1951; studied linguistics in the US, 1951-1958; worked with Overseas Missionary Fellowship in Singapore, 1958-1968; retired to the United States, 1968.
